Cathy Baker, LPCCathy Baker, LPC has been providing services Roger Mills County Hospital since April 2008. Cathy provides services to our Swingbed patients during their time of recovery.
Cathy provides assessments of social, economic, environmental and emotional factors the interfere with the patient's and/or family's adjustment to illness and treatment She explains the social work services and goals to the patient and their family members. She provides counseling, education and support to the patient and family members. Cathy also provides the need for additional resources, she is an advocate for services for patients at risk due to mental or physical limitations. She provides short term counseling and provides crisis intervention when needed. |
What is an LPC? |
An LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor. In addition to their education, LPCs must obtain supervised clinical experience and must pass a state licensing exam. LPCs are regulated by federal and state laws, which protect the title of LPC or actually define the scope of practice of a professional counselor and stipulate certain client protections.

Case Management/ Discharge Planning |
Cathy coordinates with the patient's caregivers, the needs of the patient during their stay at RMMH and upon discharge. She helps develop, maintain and evaluate on an on-going basis community referral resources.
